    Adding two coz 10a and 27a are already covered at 8.33.
    16a gives+guest = suggestive = reminiscent

    Gridman seems to have raised the bar in cluing ?

    KEYRING : Why Landlady only ? All housewives have not just the ring but also an ornate chain and jingles , preferably in silver (some even gold !) around the waist . It is symbol of authority passed on from M-in-law to daughter-in- law in most households. Haven't we seen this being a controversial affair in the films ? Matriarchal ? In Bengal, the ladies tie the bunch at the end of sari's pallu and swing it around their shoulder. The clue could have been worded more picturesquely and the Col could have inserted a graphic depiction ! The whole item can help conjure up a lot of tradition and hierarchy ? Bharghavji could have given a word-picture in his tale ?
