    1. I went and checked. It appears that I didn't save the clues to database. Normally that will help in knowing what we have clued in the past. :(

  3. 15a. If part of a bow is riser, then 15d. Clue becomes reracting and how redacting is the solution.

    1. R from Riser is the 1st letter. D from disorient gives the D.
So,Redacting is correct and no crossings problem.

    1. If so,what is the indication to drop S from terms? Agreed radical is R.

    2. The clue I have sent reads as Terms are mixed up, if small radical is replaced by a variable, it will be Maxima and Minima

So small is missing from the clue

  9. An Unlikely Romance
As she set out for her HAJ trip, all the way from Alaska, the land of CARIBOUS, the last thought on Salma's mind, was her grandma's ailing health.

Salma's original ABODE was in the GRASSLANDS of Missouri. She had shifted to Alaska, only 3 months back, to look after her grandma. She wanted to be ACCESSIBLE in case of any emergency & fortunately her boss agreed to let her TRANSACT from home.

Since all the preplanning & PRERECORDS had already been finalised, she could not postpone this trip.

Lost in thought & DISORIENTED, as she boarded the flight, she promptly missed a RISER. THWACK, she came down, almost knocked SENSELESS, with all the OBJECTS spilling out of her hand luggage.

As she sat up, testing herself for broken bones & ACHES all over, she looked up & SAW the bluest of eyes. Harry offered her a helping hand, propelling her into the flight gently.

Turned out, they had adjacent seats. What is more, they looked TWINNED for the trip wearing identical red jackets over black trousers.

Before u knew it, they had exchanged a lot of words. An AMATEUR actor & a musician by profession, Harry was headed to SUMATRA, to perform with a band there. He had already INTERNED there a couple of years back. Hearing his SALES PITCH for Indonesia, she almost wanted to divert her trip there.

Quickly REDACTING her heart felt Thank yous, Harry teased her that the fall might have taken all ELSE, but its effect on her dignity & grace was NIL.

They shared their flight meal of CHOPS with OREGANO seasoning & he even helped her to dust off the FLECKS from her jacket.

Through the flight, they discussed myriad topics from the SERVITUDE of Islamic women to their favourite COMIC STRIPS.

As they neared their destination, she felt EXTREMELY anxious. She could imagine losing him amidst the FLOCK of passengers in the airport & never finding him ever again.

However, he was busy ferreting in his hand luggage, a veritable SACK full of stuff & seemed to have forgotten her presence.

But suddenly, Ooh LA LA..... he pulled out a ring with a flourish. He said it was his graduation present from his mom & shaped like a CLEF. He proceeded to kneel on the aisle & offered the ring to her.

    Of course she accepted.

Today Harry & Salma are happily married & alternate between Alaska & Sumatra.

That brings to an end, my trilogy of romances. Hopefully a different genre tomorrow.
