  10. Nice grid.
Only House/Home right at the start seemed inelegant for Kishore.
Winston took a while since I was looking for an Indian PM.
Thanx for a breezy though theme less affair.

  11. All is FAIR in the World of Spies...

Vladimir thought he was suffering from DEMENTIA and AFRAID to trust his own eyes, when he saw WINSTON at the SHANGHAI airport.

He had personally ensured WINSTON'S PASSAGE HOME, by getting LEAR to sign the order. On the cruise liner, he had bribed the STEWARDS to keep an eye on him.

They were of a KIND and had been friends as INFANTS. They even had their bad HAIR days together. Their attempts to hike under the MOONlight with a SHERPA had earned them their first EXILE.

ORATORIOS could be written about their BETTER days of friendship & misadventures with RHEOSTATS & PHENYL bombs, before they joined the force.

But all this DEPARTED, when MERRY widow Anna entered the scene. ENGULFED with passion for her, he invited her for a road trip to a RANCH. There, as he TIDIED his friends backpack, he found the first signs.

He knew he had to act ASAP. EDGE Winston out of the scene. CITING his cold & flu as a cause, he RIOTED in absentia & had his friend CAPTURED & sent HOME in disgrace.

Expecting APPLAUSE, all he had received MEANTIME, had been innumerable reports of Anna's affairs with the other agents.

Now at a crossroads, he wondered 'What next?'
