  2. Do not want to go into reasons, but I did not enjoy solving today's CW. I found it tedious.

  3. 11 - On road, Rose parches by heat (6) - ROA{ST}S Anno pending

I think the setter meant rose =~ roas.

Neither is the latter a word nor is there a homophone indicator.

  4. Agree with Suresh. Not enjoyable at all. In this run of Manna's puzzles, there have been really only a handful of clues that were good.

One more day tomorrow and can look forward to some good puzzles for 11 days from Neyartha, Spiffytrix, Cryptonyte and Sankalak.

  5. Wierd clueing even by Manna's standards. Some examples:
22a - Revolting means disgusting and is an adjective. What Manna means is Revolt which is a noun and agrees with his clue (Sedition).
29a - quite far-fetched to say 'Need to positively tell' is the definition for the answer 'assured'. There is no anagram indicator for 'rude'.

  6. I'm sorry, but 3D is not a good clue. The structure of the clue suggests "eyes training", but not "eyes train". Exercise as a verb is grammatically jarring.

  7. The nadir today as my performance goes in Manna's crosswords. Not enjoyable at all with a pandora's box of issues which one does not want to open. Looking forward to the end ofhis run
