ReplyDeleteSomething like present-day Britannia's Cream Crackers?
ReplyDeleteSomething which I had first in the mid-Fifties; it was not available for a long time but has made its reappearance now.
Other varieties that I miss from the same company: Embassy Cream, Cottage Cream and Finger Cream.
Lots and lots of new brands come now and new varieties but I have fond memories of these - to buy which, in Durgapur (WB), we had to travel miles from our quarters to a lone strip market when the steel plant was just coming up.
Well, I can attempt at an explanation but whether I agree with it and whether it is one for approbation or for argument is a different matter altogether.
