  1. Good morning Colonel, I'm puzzled by ABUNDANCE too. Also AGREE - is "make up" both the anagrind and part of the definition?

    That ad isn't The Hindu's fault, by the way. The Evony game advertising is doing sneaky things to flood the internet, all website owners are hassled. I saw the same ad on The Guardian's site.

  2. Yes, I too have seen the same ad elsewhere.
    Incidentally, some of these ads have ROLL OVER.
    I never tried to find out what that meant.
    A repeat of the same ad?
    Or a chance to see the back of the woman in this particular ad?

  4. Now that Chaturvasi mentioned it, I looked it up in my dict. and the same def is there as well, so that settles the annotation issue. Wonder why the google search didn't throw it up.

  5. Roll over means when the mouse is rolled over the ad it drops down (like in drop down menu's) and more details of the ad appear
