    2. I saw his return on TV from the Pakistan side. From the Indian side, he was taken in a car escorted by convoy. So those on our side wouldn't have glimpsed him. Nevertheless a proud moment to be there. Prassana you can recount your experience.

    3. Though I lived in J&K for close to 4 years, I have been singly unfortunate never have been to Wagah border although I visited most of the borders abutting J&K.. Rs Pura, Nowshera, Poonch, Rajouri, Uri,Bandipora, Shopian, Kupwara, Handwara, Udhampur, Doda and so many others.At that time(2009 to 2012),J&K was a lot peaceful.

  27. Doc: Is the under-the table- lying theme ALCOHOL-related ? I see: The Usual, rum, ale, Scot(ch) , Orangeade(with Vodka?) , waiter, take on the plate, spirits, bar, alcohol, roister, celebrations, adoRABle, drumsticks (goes well with scotch ?) . Enjoyed imbibing today's tipple. HIC ! thanks.
