Breadth indicators are mathematical formulas that measure the number of advancing and declining stocks.
Brace is a couple or two of anything and 'R' is an abbreviation for for runs, like in
DeleteCricket scores. So, the solution should be 'Bracer' and not 'Braces'.

DeleteYes,I was wondering about the plural. Thank you Arden.
Delete14. Gets blown is horn. Anagram of leg and horn gives you leghorn a breed of chicken

I pray to god is idolater?
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteAll prayers need not be idol-worshipper.
All idols need not be gods.
But this reverse
DeleteSufficient vs necessary has never been my strong point.
Idolater can be just an idol ( of God or any other) worshipper or an admirer.
DeleteYikes, only got five. Found it impossible. Even after looking at the solutions I can't understand half of these.
ReplyDelete1A. In what sense do BRACES make you feel better? Also do not understand how BRACES = two runs.
ReplyDeletePlease see Ranger's post @ 9:45 a.m.

ReplyDeleteSome questions:
ReplyDelete- 15A: Cant see is HIDDEN? An example would be helpful. To me, HIDDEN ~ CANT BE SEEN
- 2D: is "stop any" doing double duty?
- 6D: Not sure why we need 2 anagram indicators (about and played).
- 11D: Not sure how the def (Sinatra) is clued. Def is a bit loose for me.
- 20D: "Lines of..." Of is out of place there...
Other than these questions, fun grid. 13A my fav clue.
