ReplyDeleteCol. reminding us about our breakfast with colourful servings.
ReplyDelete25D- Play will be the solution if we take game as def. Any rule to follow here?
ReplyDeleteIf "in" wasnt used as link word before, it is a straight forward.
DeleteSince both "and" and "in" Have been used as link words, its a toss.

DeleteRings has another purpose as containment indicator as shown by Col. We can take Lord of the Rings as additional bonus!

ReplyDeleteBoth I & IN can be used for India?
DeleteBut is it A?
DeleteThat's a typo def.
DeleteIND also for India
DeleteIs it Incognito today?? No, it is Hypatia. Surprise!! Surprise!!
ReplyDeleteNot completely convinced of the answer and annotation for 28D..judgement = idea and advocate =aide? Someone please explain what I am missing. Thanks much
ReplyDeleteSynonym of 'advocate' is aide, then move down the top letter
Delete+1 i finally think idea and judgement ate not same.
DeleteOpinion is view or judgement.
And we use "or" When a is not b.
Aide is a supporter which has to be extended to mean advocate. Looks a little roundabout.
ReplyDeleteEasy one Hypatia!
ReplyDeleteMy cod - CHINESE CHECKERS, BHELPURI.
Thanx for an enjoyable grid!
