  1. 16D,
Felt happy to recall my undergraduate Shakespearean drama Twelfth Night where the famous quote appears:Some are born great, some achive greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them. Most of Sankalak's clues take me to my college days.

  2. Got stuck in the mud ! Tough end made it tough for me since I was looking for a word ending in 'T'(why not'G'?)and trying for admant etc. Tennis great did not help me since I did not know how to turn it out!

  3. Padmanabhan,

Not my work. Blogger seems to have done it on their own.

  4. SANKALAK: Your compiling reminds me of the ones fromthe Times of London. Very decent and nothing below the belt. We could do with a bit of wickedness. Too tame to solve yours in less than 5-10 minutes. Please put some more punch, though I do like those 15 lettered anagrams. Even they turn out ot be very obvious.

    Thanks all the same.
