Announcing the next edition of our S&B lunchtime Meet at Chennai on Sunday 08 Feb 15. Further details after venue etc is finalised. Do make it convenient to attend, specially those not in Chennai. I shall start a post on this tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBhavan from Australia will be attending as he will be in Chennai during that period.
Feb 8 is a muhurtham day when I have to attend a 'grahapravesam' of a close relative in the morning.
DeleteEvening time may be convenient for me. Of course, this need not be the deciding factor.
Time that suits the majority must be.
You could join us after an early lunch at the Grahapravesam. An evening meeting makes it difficult for outstation attendees. Moreover I checked the late night trains to Bangalore on 8th night and they are already waitlist!!
Delete28 Matador dashed around a circuit (6) TORERO {TORE}{RO<-}
ReplyDeleteOR Circuit: a computer circuit
Thanks. I took 'dashed around' as TORE and missed out on the circuit
DeleteBuzzer never ceases to please! :)

DeleteVery nice one from Buzzer! Some unusual aninds here - "harsh", "sold", "down in the dumps"...
ReplyDeleteI parsed the first three letters of 10a a little differently: L from "line" and EG from "say".
Thanks to setter and blogger!
Thanks, you're right.
DeleteHarsh is not the anagram indicator.
DeleteMy apologies - I meant duly, not harsh, which is of course the definition.
DeleteThank you Col. & thank you Bhavan for the S&B at Chennai. Looking forward eagerly.

DeleteIs Hallo an alt.spelling of Hello?
ReplyDeleteHello, Hallo, Hullo - all are valid spellings.
DeleteThank you Abhay.
DeleteI missed out skipping 2 letters in 6D. This can be added to the list- Bhavan never fails to surprise- very justly though.'Down in the dumps' as an anind!
ReplyDeleteNice x'ie. well laid-out clues. To mention specially 3d .seasoned one where 'ground' is anind not fodder.9 d equally nice. Today Buzzer is like a bumble bee & still ringing.Thank you Bee.
