    Looks like we have a perfectly solved grid.

    It will be nice to know how the finalists were presented the grid, and the binding parameters, and what was the aftermath. Like eliminations. Rankings going into the next round etc.

      There were 2 crossword puzzles in the written round (prelims) to be attempted in a combined time of 60 minutes by all the contestants at the designated venue in Hotel Royal Orchid hotel, Bangalore. Each contestant had access to pen/pencil, eraser, the two printed grids...and their brains ofc :) (No phones, dictionary or references allowed).
      As Col informed in his post last Sunday, only 2 contestants submitted all-correct entries (62/62) to wit, Ramki (fastest time) and Shashwat. Other 4 who qualified for Onstage finals were Dr. Ashit Hegde (61/62), Raj Jayaram (60/62), Jose A (60/62) and Sohil Bhagat (55/62).

      At times autocorrect takes over and I come to know only after it is published. Since, I spotted “nutmeg” and I thought it could be Nina. Sorry! If my grammar is not up to mark.

    NUTMEG can be seen as a nina running down the middle column.
