  1. Today's a tough one in part. Yet enjoyed the challenge. The only clues I could not figure out were 23A and 4D.

    Good clues: 13A, 21A, 28A, 7D, 8D, 10D, 14D and 17D.

    10D: Besides the anagram, 'deer', 'grass' and 'parks' - all well related. Good imagination !

    17D: Good analogy between 'sum' and 'add'.

    But,

    25A: In the anagram, 'a' stands for 'i'. That is a trifle confusing.

    2D: The word EARNEST has been featured by different setters of THC at least three times during the past few days. Coincidence or lack of options in crossings?

    3D: The clue is a straight, least-expected giveaway, but has a high puzzle potential.
