  3. 1A Polemical: Involving controversy/ dispute. So as an anagrind should be OK.

    17 D involved 14 w/o specifying AC or DN, which led me in a different direction, having ADVOCATE (Exponent), who NOTARISES.

    Do clue 10, 12 have the proper def? I suppose 12 is the def.

  6. Did you have a dekko at the fonts in today's TH. Rather ghastly, I thought ( at least the Bangalore ed. ). And in the mining scam news item on the first page the word 'is' has got substituted by ñ. Any idea why ?
