At present , I am doing some clippings of the Times of London of 2007. Get a feeling as to how crosswords are evolving cryptically. Is there any one in the UK who do THE HINDU crossies ?

One of the meanings of cabbage in the verb form (as in TFD) is to steal or pilfer i.e. lift.
