The bouncer and the dancer - Part 98

People who often run to capitals like DELHI  or station some persons in such places to get favors could learn some simple ruses from a person like Clement.

Because his effort was not MARATHON. The coins and a BUFFALO Bill mug which he gave as a KEEPSAKE did the trick.

The official happened to RE-NOTIFY after Clement carried out the necessary replacements of some SANITARY fittings and some fire fighting EQUIPMENT spelt out in official JARGON.

And soon thereafter the official EVER SO quietly began to visit the WANTON dancer....

What happened next?

    Manitoba
    Reno(partly)
    Africa
Marathon ( It is a town really after which the race was named)

    1. The theme is narrower than West Indies. All the theme words identified by the Col. are part of the them & a few more are yet to be identified.

    2. Yes. With stolen and Africa being the other theme words

    1. See was a short form for Holy See/ See of Rome

    2. OK, that is fine. But what is its relevance, when see=lo?
even "request to see" is difficult to visualize then.

    3. The surface was as Animal lover with a request to the (Holy) See, in the cryptic reading See needs to interpreted as the verb/interjection see=lo

  6. My apologies for 26A. As the Col. pointed out, Delphi & Oracle cannot be used interchangeably.
