DeleteWhy I wrote the comment is: you have been promoted from solver to setter. So, in all fairness, we should restrict ourselves to helping the rookies. Hope you don't mistake my view.

DeleteSince new solvers are rare in coming out of the woodwork and since the Col anyway solves it and posts his blog after a delay, we might probably change the rule to max one clue by any member. Veterans and advanced beginners can post one and restrain themselves. This might ensure many clues on the plate and see how many casual visitors come forward. Even if it has sparse response, the Col's blog will be up on time.If poor response continues, the exercise may well be abandoned.

DeleteMy suggestion ensures that the recent crop of new solvers who have proved themselves to be advanced solvers are encouraged to visit the blog one day and put in their limited quota. This also lets us see more number of names under the blog so they become familiar to us and remain in our memory. At the same time it allows any totally new solver to enter and expose themselves to us.
