  16. Yes, the Col has it. The words "for such a representation" suggests that the word wanted is an adj. The whole clue leads to NON-VERBAL. Such a representation has no word. Maybe just a pic or series of numbers.

  18. I read 5D as 'Send up/ kitchen aid' and took the def. as kitchen aid and filled in timer. Then I had to reverse it after I got crossings.
