I was waiting for all the solutions to come in and I had sent the tale piece to Col. At the usual time. Apparently, he is out enjoying himself in the far east. Snatched some time to post this piece now
ReplyDeleteAn AUSSIE agricultural scientist, ACADEMIC by nature was a LODESTAR to his students. He went to the MISSOURI University with a PLAN to further his research on techniques to get a RIPE crop of LIMA BEAN and COCOA, hoping to patent his technique and thereby become AFFLUENT. There he FELT FLATTERed by the attentions paid to him by a RWANDAN girl, a research assistant who was quite a head turner and who also shared his interest in the classical music of BACH. Once on a TAXI ride to a plantation, the ISLANDER fell ASLEEP on her lap. She was concerned about the DANGER of some AILMENT having overcome him. She told the driver to take them to a hospital, where the nurse was about to start a drip of SALINE. The doctor knew better and just SLAPped his face and he woke up with a GRIMACE. The PENALTY they had to pay for this incident was being DEPICTed in a slanderously THEMEd cartoon in the univerity student magazine.Had he been an ADHERENT of the seat belt regulation, he could have avoided putting his head in a NOOSE.
