    Incognito, like a benevolent examiner, sets an easy question paper which helps to boost the confidence of the learner. Otherwise there is a chance the student may drop out.

    Richard NERO, a LEGAL EAGLE, was called DICKIE the devil. Those assembled in the court were all AGOG when he was to argue for the beautiful BEGUM from Bagdogra. She had flown into London after a night long VIGIL at the Frankfurt airport, but despite the JET LAG, her EYES were enchanting, worth an OGLE. The case was about the death of her rich British husband under mysterious circumstances, when he was on a CORACLE ride. The prosecution's NARRATIVE ENVISAGEd that it was a murder for gaining a huge AMOUNT from his insurance, while she maintained that it was an accident that occurred when her late husband was engaged in a DRAG RACE. He had LAGGED behind and to make up he took a shortcut under a DRAWBRIDGE, where his bargepole had hit the EDGE and he fell into the swirling waters. Nero, MODERN in his methods, produced the evidence recorded on a PORTABLE video TAPE recorder showing the incident. His legal team had managed to get the tape from a RAGTAG of VAGRANTS, who had stolen it. She was awarded millions from the insurance and she went on to build a MEMORIAL for her dear departed. ABOVE ALL, it changed the attitude of the British PAPERs that had thus far printed REAMs, portraying the sultry woman from the Orient as a prowling TIGER (I am afraid to say tigress in these gender neutral days).
    Author's note: The solving was done in a jiffy but I thought stringing a tale from the words would turn out to be a FIASCO. I hope it has turned out to be ABSORBing. If not, switch on the music and listen to some relaxing ADAGIO symphony.

    The social media was AGOG with the news and people LOGGED on to their computers sitting at the EDGE of their seats!

    There were many fake NARRATIVES. That the VAGRANTS had escaped in CORACLES (imagine in this MODERN age) despite the strict VIGIL.

    ABOVE ALL the excitement grew by leaps and bounds as the case was about a certain RAGTAG guy found to OGLE at a BEGUM.

    The guy in question (let us call him NERO) was found near the DRAWBRIDGE by the STREAM with a fiddle!

    Now let us not ENVISAGE that a LEGAL EAGLE would arrive from CORK to fight the case.

    It was all a FIASCO. Hey diddle diddle!

    (The guy turned out to be the Begum's husband)!!!

    Thanks, folks, for solving. I shall certainly mot make my clues laborious. They shall remain easy, as my objective is to attract new solvers. I am sure plenty of tough puzzles are available to experienced solvers who are desirous of solving tougher puzzles. Watch out for a topical theme on Monday.
