    2. He is such an experienced solver that even with a cryptic puzzle he solves only with the def and wouldn't care much for the nitty-gritty anno acc to certain arcane notation. He would say :"I saw it, I got the answer. Bus." and then he will move on to the next crossword waiting on his pad on the table. To each his or her pleasure.
Even after I saw the answer LAUNDER by two persons with annos, it took me some mins to figure out LAND is from State. I was restless until I figured that out. My mind was fixated on State = LA

    1. Thanks, Col. Once I got the answer, I fill in hurry up slowly . Invariably, I find my answers are already taken earlier . Further, my impatience is with my laptop which is very whimsical and has very vague background and scripts. I see that after I have keyed in, some letters end up in upper case and some in lower. The clue for eg. for Maria , 14 across. is absolutely bleak in my screen.

Sorry for the annoyance I am causing you, and I"ll try and be more diligent in my annotations.

cv is right. I have no patience once the answer clicks in and that;s it. I couldnt bother more !

CV is right. Once my answer clicks in my mind , thats it ! I jst

    2. its most likely the keyboard cable connector is off. or the keys have become (shift/cap keys) become sticky so pressure of hands is causing the toggle.
