Delete4D. Definition is second appearance, not 'make a second appearance'.
ReplyDeleteCorrect - "to make" is the connector between wp and def
Delete20D is LAST - 4000 pounds is 2 tons which as per British unit of weights is LAST
ReplyDeleteLAST also means Remain
ReplyDeleteCorrect KarurKrishna!

ReplyDeleteKudos to you Kriskross for setting an interesting grid. In particular,30A was truly a brain-teaser.... And so too 21D...
ReplyDeleteApologies for 20D. In hindsight, I realized that the second definition of LAST is not very precise - it is a medieval weight which could be anything from 2000 pounds, 4000 pounds to 4400 pounds depending on what you refer. Bad clue!
