ReplyDeleteOne must compliment Arden for this fantastic grid of a brain-teaser. Further, must thank for teaching me a new term EOLIAN (refer 8 Dn) and incidentally, the Collins Dictionary doesn't feature this word and probably the Oxford version lists it.
ReplyDeleteLook up Aeolian. Eolian is adjective form.
DeleteDear Sree_Sree,
DeleteThank you for this clarification...
Excellent CW but could not do justice. I wish more people chip in with their comments.
ReplyDeleteDaily comments are diminishing..seems everybody is busy.
DeleteThe bittern photo should appear after 25, not after 26.
ReplyDeleteIt always feels like a triumph to be able to finish Arden's puzzles. Enjoyed today's crossword very much!
