DeleteIn e-paper, 1A is given as
ReplyDeleteGet treatment, get fit (7)
Yes, Vasant. That was the clue I sent. Don't know who changed!
DeleteIf someone decides to change, wouldn't they seek permission from the setter?
DeleteI haven't come across such situation so far.
DeleteMaybe, the crossword editor decides (if it is not ok in his view)
12a isn't deletion from synonym, indirect? Limitless, essentially, primarily, revision might be fine. At some level baseless to remove first letter seems OK. Just thinking loud.
ReplyDeleteFor Deletion, addition, reversal, container etc. getting from synonyms is allowed. Only for the poor anagram, indirect is not allowed!
Delete+1 Vasant.
DeletePrasad, similar wp was used in 4DN too.
Very clever, entertaining and tough clues! Can't understand 21A(form and hare connection?)
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteReg 21DN it is already mentioned as DD. If you refer dictionary, you will find 'form' also means 'bed of hare'
Oh yes. Sorry,I shd have gone to the Dic. Thank you!
DeleteVery nice crossword from KKR ji.
ReplyDelete22A: Today it is [ADO][LE][SCENT] & Yesterday It was [A(DO)LE](SCENT)

DeleteYes, I too got the scent after I saw yesterday's grid!
I salute you dear Mr. Koteshwara Rao for compiling this fantastic brain-teasing grid. To tell you the truth, I could manage to solve just three clues and became utterly confused while attempting the rest....
ReplyDeleteThanks Mr. Suresh.
DeleteKKR garu!!!! what a grid today!!!! significant changes w.r.to earlier grids. Really a challenging one. 11a,28a and 20d....were awesome. Thanks for the special weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Prasannagaru! Glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteGreat setting, KKR ji. Enjoyed the grid very much. Versatile cluing. Started late in the day, but had a perfect afternoon. Thank you!
DeleteMany thanks AJj i!
