  1. An engaging puzzle. My picks are trivia, inaugural, specs and course.
    Thanks to the setter.

  2. 25D - Only individual, say. I erred since I contended it to be LONE and not SOLE.
12A - I was wondering what the solution could be since I co-related this clue to IMPEACH and concentrated on the word 'everyone' (EACH) and thus failed...
All said and done, very interesting grid and hats off to the compiler.

  3. I couldn't access the blog since last evening, getting a virus message. Now able to through my mobile but not from lap top. Maybe some issue here.

  4. Suit and tie was the briefest of clues and to the point.

  5. 6D. Not clear to me how we get EC. I parsed it as P inside SECS (for seconds). That left 2 looking superfluous.
I liked the surface in the first and last across clues a lot.

  6. I too took S and S for the 2 seconds and blinked for a while. Then it flashed. Sec and s for 2 seconds with p in the middle. A similar clue appeared sometime back, I don't remember the word.

  8. Very good puzzle, many good clues. Very clever use if homophones and well constructed anagrams. 4D and use on nee is very nice, got the anno after looking at the blog.

  9. This is Bruno... Such an elegant puzzle. The cleverness is in its apparent simplicity. Very enjoyable.
