  3. Good one from KKR.

    My COD.. 27a ANCHORMAN

I'd to struggle a bit here for I was trying to strip 'dress!' and not 'fancy.' The penny dropped later!

    1. Why 'dress' by the way? It is not needed for the clue at all and is confusting.

    2. Paddy, "since fancy stripped" doesn't make sense, dress is worn.

    3. I understand it is needed for the surface, but in cryptic reading it is confusing.

  6. Nice grid..i have a doubt regarding 7d. Shouldn't 'doctor' as anagrind precede the fodder?

  8. One who dies this way is Harness? I got the cryptic parsing - but what is the definition?
    Can someone kindly explain?

  10. Smooth sailing grid. STUDENTS and PLATONIC were some of the favs. Thanks KKR.
Had the same doubt about "doctor" as anagrind - IMO it should precede the fodder. (Or it should be "doctored" which does not fit the surface).
