Sree Sree, did not quite understand your point. Col is not saying 'rack' does not mean 'distress', he is saying 'rack' means 'stress'. If you see BRB, 'rack' means 'stress' both as noun and verb. (As noun, esp in ref to weather). If you want online ref here it is from Chambers online.
