  2. @Deepak, didn't know that 'Reserve' stands for 'Husband'. Can you clarify?

  3. To husband one's resources means to preserve-as in animal husbandry.

  7. Thanks, Deepak.

Barring a few oddities such as 11a and 13a (why statement has to be prepared only by a bank teller?), the CW was good. It is one of Manna's better days.

  8. Suresh @ 11:18,
Must be something to do with 'Metric foot' which in the UK is 300 mm or maybe it has something to do with 'poetic metre' which is known as 'foot'

  9. Undoubtedly Manna's best effort in this run. 14D is my CoD

  10. I think metric foot is more a poetry term connected with metre as a measure of the verse or the sound of it.

  11. I am wrong.just referred on line dictionary.Metrical foot is the poetry term and metric foot is 300 mm,as Col. said.

  13. Personally, I enjoyed yesterdays offering more than this one. The straight definitions [Es and CDs] bug me, and it feels like there are many in this one.

  14. 22 D - Why ANIMALS, instead of ANIMAL, as the answer is OKAPI and not OKAPIS?
