ReplyDeleteI first thought of Navajo, but luckily held back for crossings.
Congrats to Kishore & Bhavan for cracking yesterday's CW
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deepak. Kudos to Bhavan for the last mile.
ReplyDeleteHate this crossword for the E and non-cryptic CDs, which should fit into a quick crossword, not here.
ReplyDeleteToday's Guardian Quick CW 10653 is a pangram.
ReplyDelete7D- I'm for 'am'. Is it ok and accepted?
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with it.
ReplyDeleteI am okay with it, I'm okay with it, Am okay with it all one and the same

Not at all satisfying, and I don't know why I persist in doing these. So many 'meaning' type clues, inelegant phrasing, and why on earth should there be both 'INERT' and 'INERTIA' in the same puzzle? Could have substituted with INEPT, would have been appropriate
ReplyDeleteKishore@09.02-
ReplyDeletePuzzle 10653, I have completed but could not find the letter 'F'.
C V Sir, Did you relish the first page coverage for the Dhanush's cine song?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I did. In fact, I wrote a letter to the Editor (as well as the Readers' Ed) yesterday (Wed) - but, as you can guess, not all letters that we write get published.
ReplyDeleteI remembered our exchanges on Tamil film songs.
BTW, the letter on Tue by N. Chandrasekharan (not on films) was one of the best that I have read in the paper.
Paddy, every E contains an F. ;-)
