The bouncer and the dancer - Part 43

With Rita having CONFIRMED her joining the team, SS was on cloud nine. The three together could SPEARHEAD his plan to take over Shangri-la, after his leasing a portion and commencing his Club INFINITY operations.

First his EMPHASIS should be to build up crEDIBILITY with the people of the hamlet. Then put his heart and SOUL into his plan to INCITE the residents with some seductive dances.

What he had in MIND was that  AT ONE TIME the bouncer should leave the place by himself. Then entire Shangri-la will be his without any payment!

The four came to Shangri-la in a car which CAREENED inside just missing a huge tree.

SS had in his excitement  COMPLETELY forgotten Uncle Sam and his POWER to foil his plan by proving to be a constant HEADACHE.

What happened next?

  11. My daughter Gia points out to me that the theme is from Marvel comics movie 'Avengers:Infinity War'. There are 6 Infinity stones named

    Power
    Space
    Mind
    Reality
    Soul
    Time

And of course the word 'Infinity'

    1. Should we go back in time and start reading comics all over again?! Of course, there is no age limit for comics, but we don't tend to keep pace with the modern ones.

    2. Congrats to Gia. I would never have got that. I just guessed there was some theme when I saw Time and Space, though I never knew what the theme was

    3. Gia has it spot on! The movie has smashed all records and is heading towards becoming the highest global grosser of all time. Keen Marvel fans would also be able to spot some references to the plot in some of the surfaces.

  12. Comics used to be comic strips , like Eb & Flo, Andy Capp and of course Disney characters. PEANUTS, TIGER, CHARLIE BROWN ETC are also good. We are lost along the way in a time-warp when they graduated to adventures, like Captain Marvel, Superman etc. In those days, these strips in color were an attraction in the supplements or magazine sections .

I still do not miss to read these strips in the papers, my favourite being Andy Capp, the inveterate Sot and Derby fan !
