    2. Pollachi is the place where my father spent his schooldays(as also yannamallai). I have heard innumerable stories about the place. Have visited during my school days.

    3. Pollachi is a place where many Kannada Madhwa Brahmin families lived. Their numbers may have dwindled now. Some relatives of mine lived there. I have not been there.
