Thanks Incognito
ReplyDeleteI did it before 8.30 AM
OK, but when did you start?
DeleteI thought the answer to 29d was...
ReplyDeletePEES
That was the first thought to me as well :-)
Delete:-)
Delete+1
DeleteMee too ... :-)
DeleteNormally it's a lamp post instead of a tree.
DeleteThat's a good one Paddy!
DeleteThank you Incognito. Finished in 8 1/2 mins, that too without any reference or googling. A record for me. Earlier once I finished in 9 mins; of course it goes without saying the setter was Incognito only. Third one was under 10 mins, the setter being Gridman!
ReplyDeleteUnder 10 mins.for a Gridman puzzle is commendable.
Delete29d - what a dog does .. bark or barks?
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. It would have been better worded as
DeleteWhat dogs do at tree's exterior
OCR- Optical Character Reading- was new to me. Read about it after seeing the blog. Filling the grid was easier with def.& crossings.
ReplyDeleteWas used by Incognito earlier. Clean to Dean.
DeleteThere was a time when I used an excellent free OCR sw to get clues from an image file and used then to solve puzzle on a grid that I created with another sw. Two windows side by side.
DeleteI think there is nothing that you have not done in regard to CW's.
