      First time I spotted Telescopic puzzles by DrX. Octal , Onam and yesterday’s Assam was my favourites. 59 percent completed. Still in the Race to finish the grid. Thanks to Dr X and colonel for Friday’s special.

      Quite often here, many ask to lower the difficulty level. 'Easy on the nut' etc comments. Easy on the nut and all that is ok, but frankly as a setter, I need to explore difficult words and phrases and make them interesting. Otherwise, where is the fun!
