ReplyDelete"Eat and Enjoy" eclairs, Deepak, if you remember.
ReplyDeleteNope I don't. Are you talking of St Josephs?
DeleteThere used to be a bakery in Coonoor by that name which used to ell excellent eclairs. May have been there in the Staff College bakery as well.
DeleteI remember only the 'coconut balls' which were available in a local bakery at Wellington.
DeleteThank you Bhavan.
ReplyDeleteI have been visiting firstpost for news and articles. Today I was surprised to find an interactive crossword.

Info in "Things to remember" panel seems superfluous.
And I noticed a typo in a clue even without reading it in entirety.
When we select a slot the relevant clue is highlighted. But scrolling does not happen automatically for latter clues and we have to scroll manually. This is a drawback.
Haven't solved the puz to be able to judge its quality.
After all that info in the panel on the right ("Things to remember"), the enu for 26 ac is given as 7 whereas it should be (4,3), I think. And I am not really sure if there is such a word at all.
ReplyDelete4,3 it should be. However, 1a seems to doff a hat at the host.
DeleteApart from 1a, there are other clues as well that glance at the publisher.
DeleteThe crossword does not have any byline but we can make our guesses.
