    Scrap over time = definition
    has = HAS
    ultimately everyone = E
    long face = POUT

15 He performs say, good-for-nothing rituals, controversial character for High Mass (8) ALTRUIST {RITUALS*}T Anno for T not clear

character for High Mass = T (representing Ton or high mass)

  3. NO PICNIC!!
Because party time is round the corner...
The SOUND BOX has to be adjusted and the dB level increased. The cabaret artiste who has been TAUGHT the BACKSPIN TREADS THE BOARD during the rehearsals. The KEY BUGLE will be on a high around midnight. She thinks " What should I do during the PHASE OUT of the lights?" Any STUNT will be whistled. The NICKER of the guy near the podium... Will he be SUBPOENAED? Not at all.
The RESOLVERS are busy. "I will stop doing this. I shall start doing that."
Someone KICKS THE HABIT of smoking.
    ADD A RIDER:
The RESULT was that he didn't puff for three full hours!!!

  6. Hello all. I take the liberty to mention an interesting problem mentioned in the Sydney Morning Herald. There are seven clues given below. The answers to all of them are anagrams of DANIEL VETTORI - the name of the iconic New Zealand spinner. Please see whether you can get any of them.
    a.) Pertinent peabrain (8,5)
    b.) Apparent costumer (7,6)
    c.) Forceful harangue (7,6)
    d.) Deflect joy (6,7)
    e.) Hepatitis remedy (5,8)
    f.) Phoney proof (10,3)
    g.) Big sinner (5,8)
    Happy cracking.
