ALPHABET JIGSAW
This crossword is an Alphabetical Jigsaw puzzle.
The grid contains 28 entries, each starting with a different letter of the alphabet. Clues are listed in alphabetical order by their answers, and enumerations are withheld.
Normally, it should have 26 entries. But, there are two clues each for H and W representing both Across/Down clues.
Happy solving!

Col and KKR : I agree that this is solvable, =but the process has been made difficult by inaccessibility to enumeration ; all the same, I'm enjoying this exercise as I have done these types before , by writing down the clues and ticking them off after cold solving. Once that is done, fitting into the grid is made rather easy.

Thanks, KKR, for keeping all of us diehards glued to the computer this Sunday. One cannot fathom the joy of having cracked it at the end, notwithstanding the time spent.
