DeleteA doubt about 13A-
ReplyDeleteIs 'and' needed? It is not needed for surface reading and is distracting for cryptic reading.
'Stylish neat tailored clothing for cricket side' looks and sounds fine.
Looks, sounds fine :-)
DeleteToo many deletions /additions ! Very unlike Arden. Not up my street !Did instinctive deductive solving .
ReplyDelete10 Hide under stone? He's mean (9) SKINFLINT {SKIN}{FLINT} 'Under'?
ReplyDeleteMy understanding.... Question mark ? indicating uncertainty, doubt. So it appears 'hide'(skin) is not under the 'stone'(flint) but over it.
