    Partnership - I think, is the answer.

    Involvement - I think it means Part; + "shrine" + President "P"

      Alternatively, read the clue carefully.One may feel " first course " may be the catch.So if you think of what is a first course you will get the answer.Then look how these letters can be found in the clue.May be a round about way .
