ReplyDeleteThanks Remy
DeleteWell solved Remy!
DeleteIt is 12A. There is a typo in the solution. Extra A to be rmoved.
DeleteRemoved
DeleteThank you KKR Sir.
DeleteThere will be no sunday specials from 23 Aug till 25 Oct (both days inclusive) in view of IXL-20 which will be online at 11 AM on every Sunday. All the best to all participants. I hope all have registered to play
ReplyDeleteThank you Colonel!I have registered, for the 1st time as an overseas participant with mobile number of here.
DeleteIXL has gone international for the 1st time. Hope to see an interesting tournament.
Thank you col. Would there be a dummy post or the blog is also going to skip a page (probably for the first time!)
DeleteAs per announcement in the paper there will be no edition tomorrow. So no CW as well.
ReplyDeleteThere is no issue of the paper tomorrow. So at 8-30, the usual blog on Sunday crossword cannot appear. If the IXL engagement is only at 11, how do we fill the two and a half hours? That is the question that may bother some persons like Paddy..
ReplyDeleteParticipants can do some revision in preparation for the IXL :-)
DeleteRevision? Same question paper from last year?!
DeleteHa ha!
DeleteI don't think there is any dearth of puzzles nowadays.
DeleteYes Sir. You hit the nail on its head! Thank you for remembering me.
ReplyDeleteBut, I have a ceremony to attend tomorrow which may keep me occupied till noon. So no problem this time.
10AC and 11AC went for a toss initially. I thought they were BANGALORE and AT+ONE
ReplyDeleteTook sometime to get back on track.
+1 for AT+ONE - VDS Prasad
DeleteSir, you can surely update your profile name?
DeleteHe is away from home for a couple of months and is using someone else's PC. He has not changed profile deliberately. At-home on his machine, he uses his name.
DeleteSmooth going today. Got all except 22D. Thank you, Arden!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed solving CW today.....But 29A...I was struggling to get the anno.for Art. later I perceived that to consider from Painting. i.e skill=Art.
ReplyDeleteplease correct me, if I am wrong.
Painting is Art not necessarily Skill
DeleteThank you sir. I got it. it's a direct clue from Painting. have a nice day.
