    2. I read that it's a Greek dish and the creamy food use to serve for King. I too misunderstood that it's a cream. After your post I read that it's a creamy food. Thans for the challenging puzzle.

  3. @ col. The word 'cut down' denotes the deletion of 'e' in mousse. Is it so???

  4. I could not follow 'two equal sections of stable'. Any clarification?

Is manger a food trough in a stable or stable itself?

  5. Stable = manger. Two equal sections are man, ger. The whole section are interchanged.manger to german.

As to manger vs stable, I don't rem the date but we already had a discussion in recent past.

Here is the reference from Thesaurus.com where it is listed as a synonym. I believe that originally the "manger" was just a ledge/extension within a stable or a stall where the fodder was kept. It has since become more common as a fodder box

  7. Thank you Prasad. I also remembered about the discussion but neither had the details nor could search so fast like you did.
