If on Fridays that is appended by the Col as an intro I am sure many more will participate. The note must say that after adding the name to Profile one must be logged on with the same email ID so the name can show up.

    1. I had done this many times on this blog to help out friends individually. I will try to consolidate.
      1. If you had (intentionally or unintentionally) to blogger.com through Google+ profile.
Since Google discontinued plus, all that is lost.
Remedy: login in directly at blogger, edit your profile at https://www.blogger.com/edit-profile.g. provide a display name.

      2. If you have been ccessing through mobile and the display name was correctly being displayed before but suddenly became unknown.
It's got to do with deleting cookies/data from chrome/Google app.

Go to account setting, services in your mobile Google account and modify blogger service.

      3. If not any of above, most likely the browser has disabled third party cookies. Please enable.

All of the above assuming, as CV sir, said you have logged in using the same email I'd that tour blogger profile is associated with.
      Otherwise please switch account.

  24. What does an exclamation mark and a question mark signify? Does exclamation mark mean that we have to take the whole clue into consideration without finding indicators?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Manas, it could mean a few different things - while it has no standalone value, it can be used by a setter to indicate that there is something deviant or twisted about the clue, most commonly in the case of cryptic definitions.

It is also commonly found accompanying words like 'perhaps' at the end of a clue, where the setter might think an extra nudge is needed to justify a certain instruction or in a case of a definition by example.

Sonetimes it is just a mere part of the surface reading and maybe there just to throw you off.
