    1. Interesting that it appeared in two different crosswords within a week, although clued differently in each case. It was my HT to the Colonel and this blog.

    3. Wonder why.. Many of the words in the grid have never appeared in any Hindu crossword let alone one by me. The ones that have appeared earlier have been clued differently by the other setters who had used them. Maybe you are talking about familiarity in terms of my style of clueing?

      Interesting info about the High five interchange.

  8. It's obvious if we look at the clue. 20 is smooth! Opposite of it.

  9. Typo in 4D - it is VULGAR FRACTION (not FRACTIONS) - request Col to correct

  12. Legend...as in leg end...as in toe, perhaps? Thus,
    'legend mostly' becomes {TO e̶}
    Gemini seems to have solved the rest, I only attempted the legend of the clue
    13A - Definition: Became familiar
    {A} {DA{P}TED} {TOe̶}

    2. Thanks Sridhar. I dont watch the show much though my kid is a big fan. While it is a new word for some, in the Indian context - "Ramu ki ma" for instance would be a Teknonym.

    3. Thanks Sridhar. Don't know much about the show except that my kid is a huge fan. Even our Indian references like "Ramu ki ma" are only Teknonyms - though the word as such may be new to solvers.
