  5. Forgot most of my Chemistry- lots of interruptions while solving did not help. BTW Calcium is Ca and not CA. CA is Chartered Accountant!

  9. Tried my best to solve bewildering clues today, once in the early morning & later as and when I found the hard time amid assorted tasks. I was able to solve just a dozen of these fantastic clues set by our worthy compiler Afterdark.
    Well, waited till dusk (before dark) and accessed this site to learn how awful I am in chemistry and allied topics.

  10. isomerism - atoms but the same molecular weight
    aldol - it's An oily colorless liquid. comes under alcohol group.
    insoluble - (of a substance) incapable of being dissolved

  12. I aced it. I was an All India Chemistry topper in 12th. Haven't touched the subject since. Still old habits die hard & old Chemistry harder i guess.
    One doubt - involved is insoluble?
    Can some one explain?
