The surface grammar for the SISTERS clue is off. Grammatically it should be Siblings RESIST change (not RESISTS). But then the cryptic reading would fail.
Thanks for pointing it out. It was a miss from my end. I think better clue would have been "sisters resist small changes"
DeleteHe probably meant it as an anagram with change as a nine. But I am not sure if it's placement is right.
