OED
Deletea short treatise in pamphlet form, typically on a religious subject.
Its actually a pamphlet containing sermon but interchangeably used.
Flowed fast. Liked the Breakfast.
ReplyDeleteOne grouse though, about 17A. 'Show of' in the clue is needless and dusteacting.
First Navy fleet in the river' is good enough. When N has to be picked from Navy, it has to be immediately preceded by first. There shoud not be any words in between.
Is N for Navy accepted as it is, without first letter pick indication?
ReplyDeleteN for Navy is a valid abbreviation.
DeleteIt may be, but then first show???
