ReplyDeleteI hope the clueing in my recent ones has become smoother.
In lighter vein, your recent ones having clues more trickier than this. 😀
DeleteSathia
Hmmm . . . Thank you for the feedback :) :)
DeleteI should start setting simpler clues then. At least put quite a few simple clues in each puzzle.

DeleteWeight: kg within: with in gives k(in)g
French: le artist: ar

Deletealso artist is RA, right ?
with is the indicator.
DeleteI thought "ar" is also used for artist. Is that wrong?
Weight with in: kg with in
DeleteI also vaguely remembered that at is also used for artist.
DeleteYa, maybe that's wrong.
DeleteRa for the artist is being commonly used.

Often we use "*" to indicate clues that are part of the theme.
ReplyDeleteHere, "*" is used for something similar but different.
It does indicate "related to the theme".
Maybe it's too twisted a usage of that concept, but that's what happened in this puzzle.
Any clues left can be solved by anyone
ReplyDeleteOnly 7d is left.
ReplyDeleteAnd a bit of clarification of the anno for 4d and 23d
