@ Col:Got all except 1a, 3d, 19a and 24a today. Was busy writing a short story send to you separately. Will be out of circulation tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLoved Antioch, Derringer, Marsh Marigold, Baden Baden. 11a was the first one to fall, but probably most elegant.
Kishore,
ReplyDeleteWhere do you stay in Bangalore?
A shamless plug.
ReplyDeleteLink to the post in the Usenet group rec.puzzles.crosswords where I have announced the results of a clue-writing competition for MEANDERING by virtue of the fact that I was the word-setter and moderator:

ReplyDelete@ Chaturvasi: Sorry, missed one word. Dithering, Paes loses his head in Chinese pottery.
ReplyDelete@ Col: It would have been my pleasure, but along with the flea and fly, I fly out of Bangalore today afternoon and will rendezvous with Richard tomorrow.

Col Sir,
ReplyDeleteI liked the font you have used for your post today, looks neater and more concise.Maybe you cold enable the same for the comments section also.
Slowly the comments section turns into a short blog of Mr Kishore - anybody noticed?
ReplyDeleteHi, good evening all.
ReplyDeleteWas away for a few hours since morning. But had checked the crossword on the Internet edition around 5 am. Only the grid appears, without the list of clues.
Please check this link:
http://www.thehindu.com/2010/04/11/stories/2010041199951001.htm
Hope someone from The Hindu notices this.
Hi Richard,
ReplyDeleteI didn't find any problem in the morning and I had copy pasted the clues from there. The link that you have given above points to the solution grid of last Sunday's CW without the solutions. I think the grid is also wrong as it is showing the same grid as for today's CW

ReplyDeleteThanks, Deepak. The problem is solved.
ReplyDeleteRe 3D, interestingly there's also a bird named frigatebird
