A very humble person is our Spiffytrix. He has put his name only twice in this crossword - 7D & 26D. He had no hesitation in using first person while imbibing a drop of rum - so yesterday (26D)
ReplyDeleteTwo CODs - 1D (a nice DD) and 9D (&lit)
The name occurs in 5D and 23D today.
ReplyDelete'I' was used in 7D and 26D yesterday.
I am reading a Tamil novel in which I came across the following poser in English. (Thamizhans don't speak semmozhi.)
ReplyDeletePermit me to raise it here:
"There are two things in the world which men want women to do fast."
The answer has a baring on the solution to one of the clues in yesterday's Spiffytrix.
Thanks Shyam.(Yesterday I was cut off from outside due to cable fault)
ReplyDelete24 Dn - Is day superfluous?

ReplyDeleteGreat to have you back. You have been in our thoughts in recent days. There was interesting programme on the occasion of the Centenary of Tamil Short Story on Podhigai on Sunday.
Since you would not be meaning 21 D, I suppose it is drumstick.
