    Bhavan's comment on THC: 7D enumeration is wrong. Before this puzzle was due to appear, Everyman had posted a correction in one of the online forums.(6,2,8,4,4,8)

  5. Why that fora, premia, stadia etc., are obselete now-a-days and forums premiums stadiums have taken their place?

  6. All my pattern searches did not help today. First I got PARKS instead of HINES (equally possible). With the enu going wrong there was no way any kind of searches could get the answer to 7898. Only got in Business and gave up on the rest.

  7. 19 - Motion initially to wife, inside playing music (6) - {MO}{TO}{W}{N}

    I think the anno should be
    {M}{O{TO}{W}N}
    But not sure how ON comes:(

  8. Ajeesh,

    Your anno is correct 'ON' comes from 'playing'. eg "The music was on"

  9. Thanks Col. Then the definition should be just music.

  10. Ajeesh,

    Right again, I've since corrected the main post

  11. Hah!!!

    A real tough one and I enjoyed every bit of it.

    RED BIDDY was a good one. I hope the Col also knows the meaning of Mother's Ruin, having been in the army.

    1, 15 and 19 Across were very nasty to crack

    17 down and 24Across were also needing a bit of research, being unknown elements.
