ReplyDelete+1. Welcome change from Mover in this run, stepping outside of his comfort zone : )
DeleteTHC is becoming very enjoyable
ReplyDeleteA few new words/ references like for example-"who killed cork robbin". Enjoyable. Col. has stacked it with lots of good references.
ReplyDeleteHow is "getting rid of two-thirds [of REEFER]" imply the deletion of only ER -- that's just one-third?
ReplyDeleteSimilarly, in yesterday's puzzle, "change left with right" was interpreted as -r+l instead of the other way 'round.
Other than that, there were some good clues today. I especially liked 2D.
Mover is indeed a Shaker ! Very enjoyable fares over the last few days. Hope he doesn't get moved and give us a moving experience? Just about the stuff that one needs in the roiling heat of CBE-- cooling the mind and moving the hearts. Yeh dil maange moreof Mover
